History of the famous syrup

Teisseire first started in 1720 when Mathieu Teisseire, a liquor merchant started a distillery in the French Alps and introduced a new Cherry Liquor to his local neighborhood. Over the years, the company became a family business and became pretty well-known in France. In 1907, the company was bought by Francois Reynaud, another passionate spirits and liquor merchant who quickly extend the variety of flavors. But the real innovation came from his two sons in 1927 when they actually created non-alcoholic fruit syrups and developed even more flavors. These syrups quickly became a big hit in France as they could be use to better any type of drinks. A real French success-story!
